As a team of veterans, concealed carry trainers, and past contributors to the USCCA, we have heard horror stories ranging from mishandling of firearms to far worse. We know that education and proper training are foundational keys of safe and responsible gun ownership. While we don't yet offer hands-on training, we are proud to provide resources that put Americans on the right track, whether your state requires it or not. The more informed you are, the better your chances of being prepared.

Shawn lived on the road for years, and knows the importance of becoming an expert in each state's variying laws. As a gun enthusiast, father of five, and co-founder of Online Gun Training, Shawn helps Americans all over the United States to be armed, not just with guns, but with the knowledge they need to protect their famillies and their freedoms. 

Derek Smith

Instructor and Course Architect
Derek Smith is a U.S. Marine Veteran, Certified Concealed Carry instructor, and father who has seen his fair share of avoidable, yet costly mistakes when gun owners who are a good shot at the range fail to make a step-by-step plan for when disaster strikes. Derek not only teaches you safety pitfalls at home, but walks you through exactly what to look for when walking around at night and or driving around in your car– where most of these red dots appear.
